SOTM Blog Hop for April 2013

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! This month we are featuring April's SOTM, My Sunshine, a set of 8 stamps.

This month we have over 60 Close to My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other terrific CTMH product on their blogs. I chose to make a greeting card using My Sunshine.

I stamped the bird in Outdoor Denim Ink onto White Daisy Cardstock and the wings in Sunset Ink. I cut out the image and popped it onto the dotted square from the Claire Paperpack with 3D Foam Tape. Then I double framed the square with Hollyhock Cardstock on top of Sunset Cardstock.

I also used the Honeycomb stamp set which is where I got my hexagons using Sunset, Outdoor Denim and Hollyhock Ink. You need to cut them out by hand because our Cricut cartridges, Art Philosophy and Artiste, do not have a hexagon. There are some hexagons underneath the square in the center, but that is not necessary. I lined them up and glued them to the Champagne Cardstock base. I wrapped the Sunset Baker's Twine from the Paradise Assortment around the base before I attached the double-framed square containing the bird image. The base is framed in Outdoor Denim Cardstock.

From the SOTM I stamped, "You're tweet" three times across the bottom with Outdoor Denim Ink.

Mini Paper-pouch Album Workshop

I have the cutest Mini Paper-pouch Album to share! I made it with Chantilly papers from CTMH. Super easy to make and you have a completed project in short order!! And the Chantilly pack lends itself so well to Easter and Spring pictures.

This is my greeting card using Floral Happiness.

I love the simplicity of this card. Sometimes less is better! The rose bloom in the stamp set is so delicate. I generation stamped the full bloom first with Cotton Candy ink which gave a light image. Then stamped the overlay onto the light image with Cotton Candy again with regular inking on the stamp. I also stamped the leaves in the same process, generation stamping with Pear ink first, then stamping in same color the overlay onto light leaf with full inking. I stamped the words with Slate ink. Inside it says, "being with you," also stamped in Slate. There are several phrases available to complete the statement, "Happiness is...". Choose what you want!

February Kits Available

I am excited to reveal new cards for February that are available today! They use a paper pack from Close to My Heart's new catalog called, "Buzz and Bumble". It is super cute. Each kit you order will have one design, but you get to make five cards of that design.

Ordering is easy! Just decide which kit(s) you want to order and click on the "Buy Now" button. You have two options, I do all the stamping for $12 per kit or you do the stampingfor $7. Either way, all materials will be cut and ready to assemble. There is an additional charge for shipping of $5.35 unless you want to come to my house and pick up your kit. When you decide to do your own stamping, you will need to order the stamp and ink from an EZ invite on nancysheart2heart.ctmh.com using VISA or MasterCard.

Full-color photos and detaled instructions are included. Upon payment completion, your kit(s) will be mailed to you. I can probably put two kits in one box if you want to buy more than one. I would not need to charge you for two shippings!

I still have limited quantities of the Valentine sets which were made available in January. Just go to the previous post and choose "Buy Now".
